When I started yoga I could barely make it through the day without being in pain, but now that I practice yoga daily, I feel like a teenager again! My hips and back were so tight that it would affect the way that I breathe, I didn't feel confident lifting things, or doing any sort of random movement because I wasn't sure my body could handle it. But that is what makes yoga so beautiful, It's all about moving your own body around! Yoga helps you build strength by challenging you to hold your body weight in all kinds of different angles and positions- so your muscles can work together to keep you there. 

Yoga has a reputation of being too easy to be effective, but if we had just a few body weight exercises to a yoga flow, the practice can actually help you build strength and endurance. If you hate going to the gym, or are just looking for a new, fun way to exercise this is the class for you!
